We’re getting very lazy with these dark mornings and are finding it hard to leap out of bed with any kind of enthusiasm. We didn’t get going again this morning until after ten.
We stopped off in Congleton to have a quick look round the town, buy some Christmas decorations and some breakfast cereal before moving off again. We wended our way to the bottom of Bosley locks before mooring up. (7 miles, 0 locks today).
As I write this, tea is cooking in pans on top of the fire, Max is asleep on Storm’s knee, and we’re all snug in front of the fire with the coals glowing red.
