A glorious sunny morning. We did a spot of clothes shortlisting in M & S and Debenhams for Storm Laura wishes to take him shopping when we next visit her – at least that way we’ll ensure he’ll end up with clothes that meet with the kids’ approval!
I arrived at the dentist’s as arranged and I was reassured to find that I’d not wasted their time and that I actually had two problems that were giving me grief. I left with some antibiotics to kill off the infection and an xray of the problems to show my dentist when I’m next home.
We left Banbury after lunch and moved on three miles and three locks to Cropredy (the home of the Fairport Convention Annual Folk Festival held in August).
It is days like today that confirm why we’re doing this journey as the weather and the countryside were glorious.
