We enjoyed a quiet night’s sleep, with no disturbance from the tow path. We took the bike shopping to ASDA and returned with its handle bars laden with bags of shopping. We took the boat into the old Fellows & Morton wharf to fill up with water and once our tanks were full we reversed the boat back onto the Wolverhampton level canal and headed off towards Birmingham.
We made it as far as Dudley before we decided to call it a day. We’d been planning to moor in the off-line mooring at the Black Country museum but were cheered to see that the area around Dudley had been tidied up since our last visit and we pulled in behind another boat already moored close to The Fountain pub.
